It’s time for Dickinson’s annual Networking Day—a day for alumni to return to campus and talk with students about starting their careers.
Greg Osberg, former Newsweek president and worldwide publisher, is the CEO of Buzzwire, Inc. Osberg joined Buzzwire with extensive experience at some of the nations top media companies, including The Washington Post Company and CNET, Inc. While at the The Washington Post Company, he held several senior level positions rising to president and worldwide publisher of Newsweek and Newsweek.com. Osberg re-launched Newsweek.com and managed a new agreement with MSN and MSNBC.com. Before his post at Newsweek, Osberg served as president of Kaplan Professional for the Washington Post, Inc., where he managed the integration of eight professional education companies and launched Brassring.com, an Internet-based recruitment services company.
Prior to joining the Washington Post Company, Osberg was president of sales and marketing of CNET, where he dramatically increased ad revenue, resulting in the organizations first year of profitability. He also has held senior advertising positions at U.S. News & World Report and Chilton publishing. In 2006, he was awarded MIN's first Integrated Marketing Award and in 2005, he received Adweeks Executive Team (Publisher/Editor) of the Year award. He is a member of the Colorado State University College of Business Global Leadership Council and chairs the Dickinson College Parents Council. Osberg holds a B.S. degree in marketing from Colorado State University.

- The Alumni Mixer.
For alumni, there is no charge for any of the day’s events because you are providing a service to our students. Travel costs and overnight accommodations are, however, at your own expense. A block of rooms has been reserved at the downtown Comfort Suites hotel. Contact the hotel at 717-960-1000 by February 13 to receive the Networking Day group rate of $90.
