Networking Day
February 21, 2009

Greg Osberg P09 speaks during the Networking Day luncheon.More than 100 distinguished alumni and almost 300 students participated in Networking Day, an annual event that offers students a chance to build a professional network as they prepare for a successful life after graduation.

Breakout sessions offered practical advice for students who hoped to learn strategies, skills and techniques that will help them become competitive job-seekers and graduate-school applicants.

Another highlight was the Networking Luncheon with speaker Greg Osberg P'09 (at right), CEO of Buzzwire Inc. and chair of the Dickinson College Parents Council. At the luncheon, students met with alumni whose jobs related to their fields of study. An early-afternoon Alumni Mixer gave alumni a chance to network as well.

The day closed with a Networking Reception at the Comfort Suites Ballroom, where senior Dickinson students exercised a second chance to discuss their career goals with alumni in a more casual social setting.
