Geology Department Seminars

Unless otherwise noted, the geology seminar is held on Tuesdays from 12-1 pm in HUB siderooms 202 & 203 (check with the information desk).

    In order to expose students to a wide variety of geologic topics a seminar series is offered on Tuesdays at noon during the academic year.  We schedule a broad spectrum of speakers ranging from attorneys, consultants, faculty from Dickinson and elsewhere, current students and department alumni to give informal talks about their research, careers, internships, field camps, and graduate school, study abroad experiences.  These talks are a chance to come together as a department and explore the geosciences outside of the classroom.  Listed below is the schedule for this semester's seminar talks:
