Cover Letters GAO model Headings Recommendations

 

     
 

Page Length:  The binder should have no more than 20 pages of written text, beginning with the Executive Summary and running through the summary paragraph at the end of the Recommendations section. Graphic figures located within the body of the text should be set apart on separate pages (immediately following their first mention in the text) and do not count against your page limit.    If you have 3 pages with figures on them, then the Executive Summary should begin on p. 1 and the summary at the end of the Recommendations section should finish no later than p. 23.

  
 

Style: The GAO model ($1 coin report, link above) povides a good example of how to do a cover letter, exec summary, and table of contents (of course you do noot have chpaters like this GAO document does).  Use it as a style guide.
