Students expressed creativity as they blew off a little steam during the 2009 SpringFest, where art, music, dance and old-fashioned fun reigned supreme.
Held April 25 on Morgan Field, the festival featured an airbrush-tattoo artist, live music, a caricaturist, a tie-dye shirt-making station, spin art, an inflatable playground and sidewalk chalk and paint, provided to coax a little impromptu artistry from the crowd of attendees.
A barbecue lunch, prepared by Dickinson's dining-services staff, also was available.
An inflatable mechanical bull was one of several playground-like attractions at the celebration.

Student organizations, such as The Syrens, manned information tables at the festival.
