College to Host Halloween Star Party Oct. 30
The Dickinson College astronomy club will host a Halloween star party on Friday, Oct. 30, from 6 to 10 p.m., in the Kanev planetarium and Michael L. Britton Memorial Observatory at the Rector Science Complex on West Louther Street between College and Cherry streets in Carlisle. The event, called “Monster of the Milky Way,” is free and open to the public.
There will be several kid-friendly activities, including pumpkin painting and a glitter galaxy art station.
Planetarium shows and stargazing (weather permitting) will take place throughout the night. All are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes.
