Dickinson Fitness Center

8,000 sq. ft. facility dedicated to meeting the strength and aerobic training needs of the entire Dickinson community. A very popular addition to the Kline Center, the fitness center offers a wide variety of training opportunities in both strength and conditioning areas. Equipment includes:

Strength Training equipment: Nautilus 2ST selectorized line. Power Plus free weight equipment, Nautilus cable machines, Hammer Strength Leg machines, Ivanko Rubber dumbbells, Magnum Circuit training machine for handicapped population.

Aerobic Training Equipment: Quinton Treadmills (8), PreCor Treadmill, Stairmaster Free climber (7), PreCor Ellipticals (6), LifeFitness Ellipticals (2), LifeFitness Lifecycles (6-Upright, 3-Recumbant), ReeBok Ellipticals (2), Stairmaster Stepmills (2), Concept II Rowers (2), Stairmaster Crossrobics machines (2), Cybex Arc Trainer, NordiTrack, Sit-up Master.

The upper level (Aerobic conditioning) is equipped with four pairs of televisions, which are tuned into ESPN and a cable news station. A radio with headset will pick up the sound on each station.

How to gain access to the Fitness Center- You must complete an orientation on the facility before being permitted access. Call the fitness center desk at ext. 1056 for more information.

Who can use the Center- All Dickinson community members over the age of 16, who have completed an orientation, have full facility privileges. Children ages 12-16 are permitted in the center accompanied by adult supervision (over 18 years old).

Guests- Same guest privileges as Kline Center- one person per visit, and the same person a maximum of three times per semester.
