ALLARM's youth outreach program, is dedicated to providing comprehensive water resources education while emphasizing local connections through meaningful community engagement. ALLARM provides fun hands-on activities for students to increase their understanding of aquatic environments. Student employees give in-class presentations concerning various water related environmental issues, ranging from watershed quality to preparing students for stream monitoring. ALLARM offers presentations, workshops, and activities that comply with Pennsylvania's Environmental Education Standards. ALLARM's programs are designed to educate students of all ages and abilities, extra-curricular groups such as Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and 4-H clubs as well as parents and teachers.
