Abigail Phillips Paul is a sophomore at Dickinson College, majoring inPolitical Science with a History minor. After graduating, Abby hopesto pursue a career in government and diplomacy. Besides being a memberof the College Democrats, she has been involved in the DickinsonEquestrian Club, DAVS Tritons, Liberty Caps, and Residential Life as aResidential Advisor in Drayer Hall. Abby is a 2007 graduate ofCheshire High School in her hometown of Cheshire, Connecticut, whereshe was a National Honor Society member and treasurer of STAND(Students Taking Action Now for Darfur). Abby became involved inpolitics assisting with several local campaigns back in Connecticut.Then in 2007-2008 she became involved in the Obama for PresidentCampaign, volunteering at the Carlisle, Pennsylvania Obama for Americaoffice as a part-time intern as well as being co-founder andMembership Coordinator of the Dickinson College Students for BarackObama. Besides politics, Abby's other passions include being anequestrian of twelve years, and a professional painter of four years,having sold and submitted her work in national competitions. Abbylives in Cheshire with her parents, Dana and Beatrice, her two youngerbrothers, Benjamin and William, and her dog, Emmie.
