PAS will show the Film Crash to the Dickinson and Carlisle Community to kick off our discussion of civility and respect in our community.

 

Sunday, February 15, 2009- "An Evening with Martin and Langston: The Art of Activism"
7 pm, ATS. Doors open at 6:15. Tickets required

"An Evening with Martin & Langston" draws audiences inside the worlds of two of the greatest orators of the 20th century: Martin Luther King, Jr., and Langston Hughes.
Tickets will be available to Dickinson College Students Beginning Monday January 26th and to the general public on February 2nd. Tickets will be available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday's in the Lower Level of the HUB from 11am-1pm and Thursdays in The Weiss Center for the Arts after common hour at 1pm.
 
Monday, February 16, 2009- " Left To Tell: Rising from the Ashes of the Rwandan Genocide"
7 pm, Rubendall Recital Hall in Weiss
Rwandan genocide survivor Immaculée Ilibagiza will discuss her book, Left to Tell, and talk about the importance of respecting one another in today's world.
 
Tuesday, February 17, 2009- "Soft Skills in Hard Times: The Case for Good Manners in an Age of Diminishing Expectations"

Dr. P.M. Forni from the Civility Institute at Johns Hopkins will discuss how to respect one another even with the increased technology we are using throughout the campus and workplace.
