Javan Howard '09
Javan is a very active person on campus with a strong passion for the music industry. He currently holds the position as Hip Hop Director and is also the President of Umoja Club as well as part of various other organizations.
Advisors:
Davis Tracy
Davis has served as WDCV advisor since 1995. His interest in radio
began at his parents home, where he and his brothers listen to radio
drama, swing band and popular music. He is our resident bluegrass DJ,
appearing on-air on Friday mornings and late afternoons, weekly
throughout the year. With the assistance of the College and generous
donors, Davis has produced the Bluegrass on the Grass festival annually
(2nd weekend in July) since 1995.
At the Station, Davis is active in recruiting new students to work as
DJs, Sports announcers, and Public Affairs programmers. He and 2
students produce President Bill Durden's radio show, which airs on 4
Tuesday evenings each semester. Davis' "flip-side" is tree farming.

Brenda Landis
Brenda Landis has worked in Academic Technology at Dickinson College since 2003. She graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with
a Communications degree and a focus on radio and television production.
Prior to her professional career, she spent 3 1/2 years working in
retail music stores. Her musical tastes include almost every genre
including alt-hip hop, punk, indie, alt-folk, alt-country, early
reggae/rock steady, and noise rock. Her top 3 favorite shows she has
seen are Dismemberment Plan, El Guapo/Black Eyes/Q and Not You, and
Clutch. She has been part of local punk music scenes since high school
and is the unofficial "merch slinger" for her husband's band, Night
Train to Terror. Brenda's show airs Wednesdays from 12pm to 2pm.
